1760s Yellow Robe a la Francaise (2012)

When I was in Williamsburg in March, 2011 for the Accessories symposium, I got a bee in my bonnet for a sunny yellow robe a la française with blood red trim.  And when I returned to Williamsburg in April, 2011, I got to wear just that! This gown was based on a previously-draped robe a la française.  Yellow silk taffeta with red silk satin bows.
