1780s White Riding Habit (2009)

This ensemble was begun under the guidance of Mark Hutter, tailor at Colonial Williamsburg, at a workshop hosted by Burnley and Trowbridge.  The habit is made of a lovely wool-silk blend acquired through B&T; the waistcoat, button coverings, reveres, and jacket skirt linings are red silk satin; and the shirt is a fine dimity.
